Malaysian-based custom gaming laptop brand Illegear has introduced another laptop in its 2021 line: The Illegear Selenite X.
The Selenite series is geared for the players and professionals who work and game on one laptop, featuring sleek and simple chassis design. For the new Selenite X, it goes slightly beefy and gamery (the bulkier back exhaust is a giveaway) but not too far (it’s still clean and sleek when closed- no excess trimmings).
The Illegear Selenite X comes only in 17.3-inch display size and is powered by Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3000 Series graphics. The usual Selenite X uses 10th-gen Intel CPU.
The top-end spec, which is sold only through pre-orders, goes full ham in specs- AMD Ryzen 9 and GeForce RTX 3080. In laptop form. Nuts.
Like all 2021 Illegar laptops, the Selenite X will have its own built-in app, the Illegear G+, that has one-button performance boost. It also has a two-zone glass touchpad that can be independently disabled- should you prefer to have only a part of it used.
