Local custom laptop provider Illegear has anounced that there are now offeirng an even slimmer 17-inch gaming laptop than their current S7 Model. Dubbed the S7 Elite, it’s 5.09mm slimmer than the S7 at 24.89mm and is now equipped with a Thunderbolt 3 port, which allows it to accept external GPU enclosures.
The S7 Elite comes with a 1080p IPS display with G-Sync built in and an option to opt for a 4K resolution screen with G-Sync. You can now opt for the even stronger Intel Core i7-7820HK with potential of overclocking or the regular i7-7700HQ. As for GPU, you can get the S7 Elite with the standard Nvidia GTX 1070 card (with 8GB VRAM) or have the less powerful GTX 1060 (6GB VRAM). The S7 Elite also has RGB keyboards, a bigger subwoofer for better audio and a bigger battery, 66WH instead of the 60WH in the S7.
The S7 Elite will start with a 1TB HDD and 120GB SSD equipped for storage as well as 8GB of DDR4 RAM (with support up to 32GB).
You can get the S7 Elite starting at RM7,299 (cheaper than the starting range of the S7), with the highest range of specs will set you back at RM 10,796. It’s standard price for gaming laptops with this powerful of a graphics card included.
