Square Enix has released a gameplay trailer for the DLC of Forsposken, In Tanta We Trust.
The DLC will take place during the Purge Of Rheddig, an event that happened before the story of the base game starts, but you’re still controlling protagonist Frey.
In Tanta We Trust will see more of Tanta Cinta, as she and Frey team up to face their enemies. It’s the first time we see Frey interacting with someone else- not counting Cuff the talking vambrace- on the field of battle.
There’s plenty of flashy combat and magical parkour, with new magical abilities in the mix. And the soundtrack feels more harrowing and more.. Final Fantasy-y from what’s heard in the trailer which is interesting.
Forspoken was met with mixed reviews, with most of the criticisms coming from the game’s cringeful writing. But its combat and magic abilities are fun enough, as we found out in our review.
Forspoken’s In Tanta We Trust DLC releases on May 26 for the PS5 and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store).
