October 2019 is almost ending, and that means it’s time for a Gran Turismo Sport free update. Update 1.47 is bringing two of the expected content previously teased before.
The first is Spa-Francorchamps, the long, high-speed technical track in heart of the Belgian forest that’s also heavily requested by fans. While there’s only one layout for Spa, this time it comes with wet weather options from the get go, joining the Red Bull Ring and Tokyo Expressway courses. That should make up for over two months of teasing this circuit via the GT World Tour events.
The second one is the new Porsche Taycan Turbo S. The first all-electric car from the German manufacturer, this is also the debut of the car in a video game. Alongside the Taycan are three other cars. A souped-up Adventador, a favourite low-power car from previous games also known as the Mazda 2, and the Red Pig- AMG’s first foray into tuning Mercedes cars into race cars that debuted in the 24 Hours of Spa 1971.
Here’s the full list:
- Porsche Taycan Turbo S ’19 (Gr.X)
- Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce ’15 (N800)
- Mazda Demio XD Touring ’15 (N100)
- Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.8 AMG ’71(Gr.X)
Alongside the track and cars are a few more races in GT League, plus the Course Experience for Spa. No need to wait a month before the tutorial for the new track is available this time around.
Update 1.47 is coming later today. Gran Turismo Sport is available for pretty cheap these days.
