Another month, another content update for Gran Turismo Sport. Update 1.43 will be adding five new cars and- as teased before back in GT World Tour Nurburgring event, a wet Red Bull Ring.
The Red Bull Ring will have two more time and weather settings which now includes the wet. Not only does it change the look- those puddles, light drizzles of rain and water droplets do look pretty- it also affects the grip on the track. Should be a fun change in pace.
Unfortunately, it’s only available on the Red Bull Ring and its short course counterpart, not a setting for all tracks.
As for the 5 cars, there are indeed all Japanese sports cars. Some a little more exciting addition than others. Here’s the list:
- Honda S2000 ’99
- Nissan Silvia K’s Dia Selection (S13) ’90
- Toyota Corolla Levin 3door 1600GT APEX (AE86) ’83
- Subaru Impreza Coupe WRX Type R STi Version VI ’99
- Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo ’91
So now we have a stock S2000 to complement the tuned Amuse version. We got another AE86, this one has fixed headlights. The Impreza WRX looks similar to the already available Impreza 22B, but this is the newer, and also last, model to use this look.
The Silvia and GTO? Those are completely new and unique as it stands right now.
Alongside these are several new races in GT League. Spa, as revealed last weekend, is not part of this month’s update.
The update should be available later today following server maintenance.
