With June came and went without a new content update for Gran Turismo Sport outside of the start of the FIA Championships, developers Polyphony Digital is hyping up a lot on what’s coming for the update at the end of July.
Previously, we’ve seen some teasers of what possibly be a new track, set in Southern France. Here’s more teases from the Gran Turismo Twitter since we last covered it.

Now, the developers are teasing more customisation options for racing suits. While there is an option already to customise racing suits and helmets, both are limited to only a choice of colours with no option to add in logos or patterns, as you would with the cars which now has a full-blown livery editor. You can share the limited designs of racing suits already like you would with car livery but it’s rather pointless for now.
But the ability to add in your own logos, or even custom logos based on user uploads, could be rather enticing.

Recently, series producer Kazunori Yamauchi announced that there is now 5 million registered players for Gran Turismo Sport. Should that number reflect the active playerbase, that should be a good sign that the PS4-exclusive sim racer still has its staying power.
Expect to see the new update to arrive either in the next two weeks or by the very end of July the week after.
