Gran Turismo Sport’s 1.29 Update Arrives Today, Adding Catalunya Circuit, Last-Gen Super GT Cars
The next content update for Gran Turismo Sport arrives today. As expected, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be available. The home of the Spanish Grand Prix F1 race, the F1 test track for many years and also hosted various racing events such as the Blancpain GT Series, the track is a popular choice. Though this is the first time in the series to feature it.
The long straight and multitude of swooping corners, both fast and slow, will test your driving skills immensely.
In addition, the nine new cars teased earlier has been revealed. Three of which is the trio of last-generation Super GT cars, which will be added to the Gr.2 category. The cars are as follows:
- Ferrari GTO ’84 (N400)
- Maserati GranTurismo S ’08 (N400)
- Pagani Zonda R ’09 (Gr.X)
- Honda EPSON NSX ’08 (Gr.2)
- Lexus PETRONAS TOM’S SC430 ’08 (Gr.2)
- Nissan XANAVI NISMO GT-R ’08 (Gr.2)
- Jaguar E-type Coupé ’61 (N300)
- MINI Cooper S ’05 (N200)
- Subaru Impreza 22B-STi Version ’98 (N300)
Again, it’s a nice mix of cool historic cars (we got the Jaaaaag!) and old favourites from past games.
As always, new GT League races have been added. New Scapes and a Circuit Experience for Fuji Speedway are now available.
This is referred to as the November update, so don’t expect another content drop at the end of this month.
