It’s a good week for Gran Turismo fans.
During the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Brazilian Formula 1 champion Emerson Fittipaldi and Kazunori Yamauchi, series Producer and Vice President of Sony Interactive, unveil the latest addition in the Vision GT series: The Fittipaldi EF7.
The car was designed to be Fittipaldi’s dream track car, fusing the vision of the champion, with iconic Italian design from Pininfarina and race-bred German engineering from HWA AG to fulfills his dream to produce a car with fierce performance, for drivers of all skill levels.
The car will be exclusively available in the upcoming Gran Turismo Sport with exactly the same characteristics as the real track car.
But that’s not all. the series producer also has confirmed that TAG Heuer will be the Official Time Keeper in Gran Turismo Sport. Polyphony Digital has integrated TAG Heuer’s Live Timing Technology into the game providing “unparalleled timing solutions within the racing experience”.

But the most peculiar of it all is the TAG Heuer museum section in Gran Turismo Sport, where players can learn about “historical events from TAG Heuer.” An interesting way to promote the watch brand into a game about cars but who are we to judge.
The release date is still an unknown but reports still suggest that the game will release sometime in 2017, exclusively for Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro.
