GigaBash, the indie kaiju brawler from Passion Republic Games, is now available on Nintendo Switch as well as on Xbox consoles.
The Switch port was previously teased with a release window, while the Xbox release was only announced but never had a release window. So it’s a nice surprise to see both platforms getting it on the same day, August 3.
Not only that, but the Godzilla DLC, which adds 4 extra characters, is also available on both platforms.
However, cross-play matchmaking is not available on Switch and Xbox right now. It is currently in the works. Xbox has cross-gen matchmaking across Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
GigaBash sees a battle of 2-4 players, controlling big kaijus and/or giant heroes as they battle in various maps. Inspired by Smash Bros. and Power Stone, this is Passion Republic Games’ debut title.
GigaBash is out now on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. You can find our review of GigaBash here.
