Three upcoming games will be utilising Nvidia RTX and DLSS features on launch this October.
Cyberpunk parkour title Ghostrunner, 3D platformer Pumpkin Jack and Chinese action RPG Xuan-Yuan Sword VII will all be launching with ray-tracing and DLSS support.
Ghostrunner and Pumpkin Jack will see ray-traced reflections and shadows, whereas Xuan-Yuan Sword VII will have ray-traced global illumination. All of the titles can use DLSS, which means better anti-aliasing at higher resolution while using less compute power thanks to deep learning AI.
Nvidia is also reminding that there are more games coming your way in November that will make use of the Nvidia RTX graphics cards’ capabilities.
These games are out now but will receive updates in November:
- Edge of Eternity – out now in early access, the game is adding DLSS support
- Mortal Shell – with ray-traced shadows and DLSS
- Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – with DLSS
- World of Warcraft: Shadowlands – with ray traced shadows
These two games will launch in early access form but will have RTX features:
- Enlisted – closed beta kicks off in November with ray-traced global illumination and DLSS
- Ready or Not – ray-traced reflections, shadows & ambient occlusion and DLSS will be available when the game launches in early access later in 2020
The three big AAA games coming later this year will also be utilising Nvidia RTX features.
- Watch Dogs: Legion – launching on October 29 with ray-traced reflections and DLSS
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – launching on November 13 with ray tracing and DLSS
- Cyberpunk 2077 – launching November 19 with ray-traced reflections, ambient occlusion, shadows & global diffuse illumination and DLSS
If you have an Nvidia RTX GPU, there’s plenty of upcoming games that will make your purchase justifiable later this year.
