Ghostrunner 2 is celebrating 2024 with an free update and paid DLC release themed for the Lunar New Year.
The free update will be adding Chinese voiceovers as an option. Plus, the rougelike mode, Rougerunner.exe, will be expanded with more challenges including new parkour elements, new enemy encounters, and challenges that uses the wingsuit.

The paid DLC is called the Dragon Pack Expansion, themed around this Lunar New Year being the Year Of The Dragon. The DLC pack contains the following cosmetics:
- Three sword skins
- Three hands skins
- A brand new motorcycle skin
The free update and the Dragon Pack Expansion will be released on February 8, just before the Lunar New Year.
