Gamescom Asia To Host Monthly Online Panels Of Gaming Industry Talks

Gamescom Asia will not see its inaugural event until next year (understandably so), but it still has something in store for the global gaming industry.

Gamescom Asia will be introducing a digital miniseries which comprised of Games Market Bootcamps for folks within the industry (B2B) and GameDev Talks, where industry panels veterans and experts share about game development.

The Games Market Bootcamp will focus on how the gaming landscape looks like in the Asia Pacific region, each month focusing on one country. Expect to see the latest data on key trends, insights and future forecasts for each of the countries.

The first session will be held on October 15 and will be talking about The Philippines, with next instalments will focus on Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and India.

Sign-ups to join the Games Market Bootcamp online panel can be found here.

GameDev Talks will commence starting January 2021. These episodes will talk about the behind-the-scenes work of making games (like a GDC talk), with live Q&A. Game fans are encouraged to join in the live show, but the episodes will be made available to everyone afterwards. More info about this online panel will be revealed soon.
