Freedom Wars Remastered is out now on consoles and tomorrow on PC (Steam) in Asia.
The remaster of the 2014 PS Vita launch game is curiously being published by Bandai Namco, despite the game IP being own, and still owned, by PlayStation. There’s plenty small text surrounding the game, including in trailers, making it clear this game is still own by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
Freedom Wars is an action RPG in the same way Bandai Namco’s own God Eater is, in that they have a Monster Hunter-esque gameplay loop.
The remaster of Freedom Wars brings improved textures, 4K resolution support and 60 FPS on PlayStation and PC platforms. There’s also an overhaul to the crafting system and new difficulty settings. Online co-op is available as well.
Freedom Wars Remastered is out now on PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch, and will be out on PC (Steam) tomorrow in Asia.
