Freedom Wars Finally Escapes To PC, Nintendo Switch And PlayStation Consoles Next January

With Tokyo Game Show loaming ever closer, Bandai Namco has announced that they will be remastering the fan-favorite PS Vita title, Freedom Wars for both consoles and PC, a decade since its original release back in 2014.

Developed by Dimps and originally published by Sony Computer Entertainment, the game is a battle-action game where the player character has been imprisoned in various Panopticons as they fight weaponized robotics called Abductors to gain more rights (and upgrades) in their sectors, and be the top player in their respective systems, which does have some resemblances to a certain series about Fatals and Bullets that was also developed by them.

The gameplay itself is quite similar to Bamco’s other title in their library, Gods Eater Burst, to the point where there’s an option to make the controls in the original PS Vita release, be similar to that game’s layout, so fans of that series shouldn’t have too hard of a time to jump in this Remaster.

Freedom Wars Remastered is set to release on January 10, 2025 for PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch and PC
