As the year closes by more games are being given away for free. Ubisoft is continuing their free games promo that started with World In Conflict and then Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag with one more game, 2012’s Watch Dogs.

Watch Dogs was the first game to usher in the potential of the now current generation of consoles. Its first gameplay demo looks utterly gorgeous it was unbelievable that all of that was running in real-time in real hardware. Unfortunately, all of the early Ubisoft games for this generation might have targeted too high in the visuals, as when the PS4 and Xbox One were revealed, the specs were not as powerful to produce gameplay as seen in earlier trailers which led to the “Ubisoft downgrades” stigma.
Despite the downgrades, Watch Dogs is a decent GTA-like open world action game. The series was further refined last year with Watch Dogs 2.
