Forza Motorsport PC Specs Requirement Revealed

The new Forza Motorsport is coming out this October. Alongside the news of the Nürburgring GP being part of its initial 20 tracks list (with the famous Nordschleife layout coming later as a free update) is the reveal of PC specs required to run Turn 10’s latest racing sim.

The minimum specs are understandable, many PCs should be able to run Forza Motorsport. But the jump from Minimum to Recommended is quite steep. If you want to play at High settings on PC, you’ll need at least an RTX 2080Ti or RX 6800 XT, with 8GB VRAM. Sheesh.

It goes to show how the game really is pushing for next-generation graphics. Let’s just hope it still looks decent at Medium and lower settings.

Recommended (High settings)

  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 8GB VRAM // AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT 8GB VRAM
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Storage: 130GB, SSD

Ideal (Ultra settings)

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-11700k // AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080Ti 16GB VRAM // AMD Radeon RX 7900XT 16GB VRAM
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Storage: 130GB, NVMe SSD

Forza Motorsport (2023) will be out on October 10 for the Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store). The game will be on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on launch.
