Forza Horizon 5 Series 6 Now Live – Horizon Customs, Drift Club Mexico, New McLarens And More

Another four weeks have passed, and we’re back in summer in Forza Horizon 5 with the beginning of Series 6. The Horizon PR Stunt Takeover is over and is now moving away for Horizon Customs, the theme for Series 6.

This series celebrates “both the creative and racing talents of our amazing players with important upgrades to Horizon Open and EventLab”.

Two Eventlabs events will be featured every week instead of just one, to showcase the best custom creations players have made with the Eventlabs feature. And one of the pictures in every week’s Festival Playlist features a community captured photo.

Also, a new change to the Festival Playlist will see all PR stunts on the Playlist to award Super Wheelspins- the rarer and much better gacha roll where you get three rewards instead of one. This change will also take effect in all future Festival Playlists.

New cosmetic unlocks will also feature the mural designs seen around Mexico (designed by Mexican artists).

Series 6 will also see the debut of a new Horizon Story, the first post-launch update to add additional story content in the form of Drift Club Mexico. Once you build the Horizon Rush Outpost you’ll be able to partake in this new storyline featuring cars that are very good at going sideways.

The final reward for completing Drift Club Mexico is a new car, the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400. It’s an EV tuned for drifting with the ability to change its drivetrain layout between AWD and RWD on-the-fly (click the left stick).

Forza Horizon 5 Series 6 Festival Playlist Cars

  • 2014 McLaren 650S Spider – earn 20 points during Spring

Forza Horizon 5 Series 6 Car Pass Cars

Four new cars will be added weekly as part of the Car Pass. Players who purchase the Car Pass will be getting these new-to-Forza cars that will be released throughout Series 6:

  • 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado – March 31
  • 2021 McLaren 620R – April 7
  • 2021 Mini John Cooper Works GP – April 14

Alongside that, a new patch has also been released ahead of Series 6. This update adds a new progressions system for Horizon Open events, the ability to queue for specific race disciplines, and the addition of a gravity setting in EventLabs.
