Forza Horizon 5 Series 3 Now Live, Adds More Toyotas, New Trailblazers And More

New four-week cycle, new series for Forza Horizon 5. After celebrating Christmas for Series 2, Series 3 is welcoming the new year, the Lunar New Year to be specific, with new cars and rewards added to the open-world racing game, available to earn for a limited time.

The main city of Guanajuato will trade in the Christmas trees and candy canes for red lanterns to celebrate the occasion.

Plus, there is the addition of two Trailblazer PR Stunt events, a point-to-point to set the fastest times, with the freedom to choose any route to get there. This is a permanent new addition to the game.

New Cars Added To Forza Horizon 5 Series 3

The new cars added to Series 3 Festival Playlist rewards don’t have as much cult and meme status as the Peel P50 from the previous series, but still an interesting addition to the game nonetheless.

There are three new Toyotas, one being the seventh and currently final generation of the Celica, the 2003 Toyota Celica SS-I that was popular in the 00’s tuner culture scene, and two off-roaders (including a Hilux) built for traversing the Arctic.

Here is the list of new cars added to Forza Horizon 5 in the Series 3 Festival Playlist:

  • 2003 Toyota Celica SS-I – Summer Season Progress: 45 Points
  • 2013 Donkervoort D8 GTO – Autumn Season Progress: 25 Points
  • 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 – Autumn Season Progress: 45 Points
  • 2007 Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38 – Winter Season Progress: 45 Points
  • 2015 Jaguar XKR-S GT – Spring Season Progress: 25 Points
  • 1990 Vauxhall Lotus Carlton – Spring Season Progress: 45 Points
  • 2016 Zenvo TS1 – Series 3 Overall Prgress: 120 Points
  • 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 – Series 3 Overall Prgress: 200 Points

There are also five new car horns that can be unlocked from the Festival Playlist, all but one is themed around cats and tigers (and Jaguars- the car marque), as a nod to 2022 being the year of the tiger according to the Chinese calendar.
