Tis’ the season to be jolly in Forza Horizon 5, as it welcomes Series 2 of its live service. Despite the game featuring the four changing seasons, don’t expect snowfall to arrive in open-world Mexico.
But what you can expect is another four weeks of new events, a slightly changed and decorated world for the holidays and a new community event, Horizon Secret Santa.
As outlined earlier this week, the Horizon Secret Santa is a community event to encourage players to participate in giving gifts. Car gifts. You can donate cars from the Forzathon Shop to either your friends or to a random player in true Secret Santa fashion.
You can gift Forzathon Shop cars once a week, as well as on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, which should feature special deals.
A gifted car can be found at the Mulege Town Market, the starter town just south of the main Horizon Festival Site. It’s marked on the map as Horizon Winterland.
Gifting enough cars as a community and you can unlock the Santa Suit outfit, as well as the glorious return of the tiny little Peel P50.
UPDATE 2/1/2022: Happy New Year! The community goal has been reached and the Peel P50 is now unlocked. Check the Message Center under the Gifts tab to claim the hilariously small automobile.
Alongside the Peel P50 are seven other new cars new to Forza Horizon 5 in Series 2:
- 1939 Maserati 8CTF – Earn 45 points in Summer
- 2012 Lamborghini Aventador J – Autumn Seasonal Championship “Getting Hyped”
- 2010 Ferrari 599 GTO – Earn 25 points in Winter
- 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante – Earn 25 points in Spring
- 1965 Peel Trident – Earn 45 points in Spring
- 2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello – Spring Seasonal Championship “New Beginnings”
- 2019 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ – Earn 200 points across Series 2
New clothing items (mostly Christmas-themed) new car horns (all are Christmas-themed) can be earned throughout Series 2 as well.
