Forza Horizon 3’s Next Expansion Brings Out Hot Wheels Cars And Tracks

Every racing game wants a piece of crazy stunt racing it seems. It’s a good opportunity for Mattel’s Hot Wheels brand of toy cars and tracks to cross-over into games. Forza Horizon 3, the open-world and more arcadey cousin to the Forza Motorsport series is getting an expansion all based around Hot Wheels. Australia will be transformed into a city full of those lovely orange tracks zooming all around the locale. Expect loops, booster pads, bank turns and huge jumps when driving on these tracks.

The Hot Wheels expansion comes with a new campaign and includes at least 9 new cars, including a few iconic Hot Wheels original designs like the Twin Mill in the header above.

It’s been some time since we have a decent Hot Wheels game. The rocking soundtrack sure brings back the memories of one decent game- Hot Wheels Turbo Racing on the PS1 and Nintendo 64 that featured Metallica’s Fuel as its title song.

The Hot Wheels expansion pass is included in the Expansion Pass (which includes previous expansion Blizzard Mountain) or can be bought separately. It will arrive on May 9.
