Finally, A Video Game Book Worth Reading: “Things I Learned From Mario’s Butt” Announced

Prominent games journalist Laura Kate Dale announced crowdfunding for her newest book, Things I Learned From Mario’s Butt via her twitter today.

The book describes itself as a “40,000 word illustrated coffee table book all about video game character butts”, authored by Dale and illustrated by artist Zack Flavin.

The book is being crowdfunded on Unbound, and backers can receive a copy from the book from as low as £10 (MYR 54.90 at time of writing) via the site.

Things I Learned From Mario’s Butt will contain reviews of video game butts, as well as interviews with game developers themselves (about butts, obviously,) and will also include guest commentary by other butt connoisseurs such as Jim Sterling, Justin McElroy and Dan Bull.

Other goodies attainable via pledging to the campaign include signed copies of the hardback, postcards of illustrated butts, as well as butt mugs.
