February 2022 State Of Play Will Be All About Gran Turismo 7

Start your engines. The first PlayStation State Of Play broadcast of the year will be focusing on one of the big releases by PlayStation Studios after Horizon Forbidden West: Gran Turismo 7.

There will be over 30 minutes of new footage, all running on PS5 (the game will also be coming to PS4).

Nothing else is noted, other than potentially copyrighted music will be broadcasted, so co-streamers and content creators, head’s up.

Gran Turismo 7 looks to be a return to form with this latest entry. The GT Mode (campaign) is coming back, with all the quirks and features that the series introduced back in 1997, which forever changed how we played racing games. The last entry, Gran Turismo Sport, was missing the charm of a campaign mode as it was focused on introducing online multiplayer.

Plus, familiar fantasy tracks from the past numbered entries are returning to GT7, with Trial Mountain and Deep Forest Raceway already been revealed their new redesigns to accommodate the larger car count and facilitate clean racing. A familiar real-world race track is also coming back in the form of Daytona International Speedway.

The February 2022 State Of Play will be broadcasted on February 2, 5PM Eastern (February 3, 6AM Malaysia Time, +8 GMT) on PlayStation’s YouTube and Twitch.
