Farming Simulator 25 is out now and it’s already sold more than 2 million units worldwide in its first week. In that same week, on Steam, Farming Simulator had 135,000 players online participating in agricultural, forestry and animal husbandry activities the game offers.
The Farming Simulator series has also surpasses 40 million units in sales.
Never underestimate the mass appeal of what seems to be niche video games. Farming Simulator can sell this many copies, as much if not more than the latest AAA games, on release. It also has a very serious esports scene.
Farming Simulator 25 allows players to set up farms in East Asia via a new map as well two maps based on landscapes of North America and Central Europe, and make use of over 400 machines and items from 150 real brands including the likes of John Deere, Kubota, New Holland and more. Farming Simulator 25 can be played solo or up to six players online.
