Ubisoft Toronto’s open-world shooter Far Cry 6 gets a new expansion releasing today. Called Lost Between Worlds, the expansion takes a dive into the other-worldly as protagonist Dani Rojas found themselves in a fractured version of the Yara.
To escape from this “space between worlds”, Dani must repair a broken spacecraft, and to do that, must face 15 unique trials, called Rifts and fight Shardfaces and crystalline enemies.
Expect branching paths, exploration via platforming, and many opportunities to use stealth or go all guns out while you fight the crystal beings.
It’s quite a drastic change in aesthetic, but it is more Far Cry 6 should you want more. If you haven’t played the game yet, there’s now a free trial of the game available on PS4, PS5, PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
