After two every successful and drama pack season, F1 has renewed their Esports series for another season.
Last season saw the total domination of eSports Racer Brandon Leigh with his Mercedes-AMG Petronas eSports team, so now we begin from-zero once again with a new season.
The new season starts next week with an online qualifier on F1 2018 that runs from 8 April until 19 May ,which then continues onto the race-off rounds from 27th May to 29th May, with entrants on all platforms race each other to enter the Pro Draft.
The remaining drivers would then be drafted by teams and after which,we’ll see the first official round being held at the British Grand Prix, using the new 2019 game (which launches early this year). The world champion of this series will walk away with a share of 500,000 USD at the season finale at Abu Dhabi.
The addition of spec-cars in this year’s game could see this becoming the most tightest season in the series’ young history, so I can’t wait to see how it unfolds later in July.
