Codemasters has showcase their second deep dive trailer for their upcoming F1 23 release on June 13. This includes a look onto the return of their Story mode and their latest Multiplayer mode that feels quite inspired with a sister series within the EA realm.
We get a run-through of the latest rendition of the Breaking Point storyline, where we continue with the story of Aiden Jackson and his rivalry of one Devin Butler with an interesting twist during the two season long story. They also have added a new reputation system that measures Aiden’s performance on and off the track as well, with rewards if you get to beat the challenges set during the course of the mode.
And then we get to the big one, F1 World. A big multiplayer component that brings in elements from both the Dirt Rally series and even stuff that feels similar to fans of EA FC’s Ultimate Team, where you build a multiplayer team from the bottom to the highest tier of racing within the game.
There will be challenges and events that will go live alongside the current F1 season that will reward players with Tech Levels that upgrades your cars and compete in many different multiplayer series, Solo or even in Ranked modes.
It’s shaping up to be the most interesting F1 game, multiplayer-wise, so far. F1 23 is set to lunch on June 13 For Deluxe Edition owners, and June 16 for rest on all platforms.
