Capcom will be holding an Open Beta Test for its upcoming multiplayer game Exoprimal this week. Here are all the details and info you should know before sampling this fascinating combination of online co-op, horde shooter, and hero shooter.
Open Beta Period
The Open Beta test should begin on Friday, March 17, 12 PM UTC (8 PM Malaysia Time, +8 GMT) until March 19, 11.59 PM (7.59 PM Malaysia Time). Timing may change.
The beta is available on all platforms Exoprimal will be launching on: PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox series X|S.
You will require a Capcom ID linked to the account of your chosen platform.
No paid PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription is needed to try out the open beta.
What’s In The Open Beta
You can try out the tutorial, training mode as well as the main Dino Survival mode in the Open Beta Test.
Cross-platform matchmaking is available across all platforms.
Dino Survival is the ever-changing multiplayer mode where two teams are pitted against each other, indirectly or directly, to complete objectives faster than the other team. The missions are determined by the AI Leviathan. There will be more mission types and more fields (maps) available in the full release of Exoprimal.

Available Exosuits:

Exosuits are essentially hero classes. You can change between them on the fly, but it is expected that the team has at least one support and tank exosuit user.
Available Rigs:
- Cannon
- Aid
- Catapult
- Blade
- Shield
- Drill Fist
Rigs are supporting items not bound to any exosuit.
Access to exosuits and rigs will be gated by player level in the full release, but will be all available from the get-go for the beta.
Beta Participation Reward
All players who participated in the Open Beta Test and completed the survey will obtain the bonus cosmetic item “Charm: Albius Medal” for the full release of Exoprimal. This will be sent as a code to the email address registered to your Capcom ID.
Exoprimal will be released on July 14 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
