Capcom has revealed the release date for its upcoming dino-busting multiplayer action game Exoprimal.
The release will see the game also be available on Xbox Game Pass on release. Note that at the time of writing, there’s no mention of a Microsoft Store/Windows release on PC (just on Steam), so let’s assume this does not include PC Game Pass, which is what most countries in the world only have access to, just yet.
UPDATE: Xbox Wire confirms that Exoprimal is on Game Pass for console, PC and cloud. So it will also be for PC Game Pass.
The reveal on the recent Capcom Spotlight broadcast reveals that the game requires a continuous internet connection, and there is a Survival Pass (battle pass) with free and premium tiers. In other words, Exoprimal is a live service game.
Exoprimal will see you work together in a team wearing different exosuits, each with different abilities. Most of the combat will see you shooting and smashing a horde of dinosaurs.
An open beta test, available on all platforms Exoprimal is launching on, is scheduled to run from March 17-19. Participating in the beta will reward players with “Charm: Aibius Medal” for use in the main game when it’s released.
Exoprimal launches on July 14 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
