As part of Dragon Age Day 2024, an annual fan-created celebration event for all things Dragon Age, developer BioWare has dropped a new patch for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, as well as releasing the character creator as a free standalone thing.
The standalone character creator allows anyone to take all the time they need to create their own Rook and Inquisitor. The created character can later be imported into The Veilguard once you’re ready to take on the action RPG.
Check the game’s store page and there should be an option to download the free character creator.
BioWare has also added in a new armour, body paint and face paint that evokes the looks of Dragon Age II’s protagonist Hawke.
BioWare also added new armour evoking the N7 Spectre motifs as seen on Commander Shepard of Mass Effect fame, right around N7 Day, the annual celebration of all things Mass Effect, in The Veilguard, recently.
Patch notes for the latest The Veilguard update can be found here.
For Dragon Age Day 2024, the organisers of fan-run event have scheduled several livestream, and are raising money for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is out now on PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, EA App) and Xbox Series X|S. Check out our review of the game here.
