UK-based developer and publisher Double Eleven has formally opened its new office within the bustling area of the Mid Valley Megamall complex in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The new 12,000 sq./ft. studio was created with the needs of a modern-age gaming studio, which includes dedicated areas for development, play-testing and even doing virtual conference calls. The company are now also prioritizing a more healthy culture and work practices, with them focusing on anti-crunch methods for their workflow.
What’s more, the local talent here will be working together closely with their main UK Studios on global projects, with them considering each other as one cohesive team. These works include the recently announced collaboration with Bethesda Game Studio on making content for Fallout 76, which is coming later this year.
Here’s what the Chef Operation Officer Mark South had to say on their new office. “We’re excited to celebrate this milestone in expanding our studio’s people-first ethos into Malaysia, creating new opportunities for the highly capable pool of local talents. Combined, both studios position Double Eleven for the future to continue creating and publishing great games,”
Double Eleven are also continuing to recruit full-time staff for various positions for its Kuala Lumpur studio. Applicants can find further details on the Double Eleven Careers Page at www.double11.com/careers.
