Doom Reboot Boasts 13+ Hours Campaign

Doom, the upcoming reboot of the classic FPS from id Studios, is set to take up to 13+ hours to complete its campaign.

This claim comes via a post on Doom’s official Twitter account, when responding to a fan’s query regarding the campaign length for the upcoming shooter.

Difficulty will definitely be a factor for the length of gameplay, however, “folks playing at the office average 13+ hours in the campaign.”

Such a lengthy campaign flies in the face of modern shooter conventions, in addition to its sure-to-be extensive multiplayer options. The dates for the Beta are yet to be announced, since it was announced as a bonus for pre-ordering Wolfenstein: The New Order back in 2014.

The game was first revealed during Bethesda’s E3 2015 press conference, bringing its brand of brutal gameplay and gore to the screen, as well as its modding tools and multiplayer modes.

Doom will release later this year on May 13th, for the Xbox One, PS4 and Pc.
