Deathloop Delayed To September 14

Ready for the time looping adventures and murders in Deathloop? Developer Arkane Lyon isn’t, and as such, has chosen to delay the game further to September.

“We’ve committed to quality and preserving our team’s ambitions for Deathloop while ensuring the health and safety of everyone at Arkane,” the statement reads. “We’ll be using the extra time to accomplish our goal: create a fun, stylish, and mind-mending player experience.”

Deathloop was initially targeting a late 2020 release before the delay to Q2 2021 which later dialled down to May 21.

Deathloop takes you to a world draped in 60’s spy aesthetic where you are stuck in a 24-hour time loop until you murder all eight Visionaries on the island. Playing over and over to explore and discover how to do so within the time limit is part of the fun. Also, one of the Visionaries is actively hunting you down and can be controlled by another player.

The next game from the Dishonored 2 team will be arriving on September 14 for PS5 and PC.
