Death Stranding Director’s Cut Coming To PC In Spring 2022

505 Games announced that Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be coming to PC. Death Stranding, the “strand” game and also a post-apocalypse courier delivery game by Kojima Productions, was released on PC with 505 Games as a publisher back in 2020, a couple of months after its first release as a PS4 exclusive in 2019.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut was released last year and added a few more features and content as a PS5 exlusive. Thankfully PC players will still be getting a taste of the Director’s Cut as well.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut on PC will still include the Half-Life and Cyberpunk 2077 crossover items. Plus, it will support Intel’s new XE Super Sampling (XeSS) upscaling tech (similar to Nvidia’ DLSS and AMD’s FSR) for better graphics without sacrificing performance.

However, currently, there is no word whether Death Stranding Director’s Cut will have some sort of upgrade path, which the PlayStation version had. Death Stranding was heavily discounted both on Steam and Epic Games Store as part of the year-end sales and it would suck if existing players have to buy another full game to get the extra content from Director’s Cut.

More information will be revealed at the end of January.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be coming to PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) in Spring (Q2) 2022.
