It keeps coming. Hideo Kojima’s latest game Death Stranding now has a release date for its PC release.
Released last November on PS4, the cargo-hauling simulator was backed by Playstation, which includes the use of Guerilla Games’ Decima game engine. So to see it coming to PC, and this soon, with the help of publisher 505 Games, is certainly surprising.
The PC version will add a photo mode as well as PC-centric features like high frame-rate and ultrawide monitor support. It also includes some cross-promotion items with Half-Life. Want to have Norman Reedus have a red valve at the back of his head, or wear a headcrab as a fashion statement? Now you can.
UPDATE 3/3/20: A 505 Games spokesperson has confirmed that the Half-Life cross-promotion items are available on Steam as well as Epic Games Store versions. Praise Gaben.
Death Stranding will be out on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) on June 3rd. It is also now available on the PS4.
UPDATE 3/3/20: The article originally mentions the release date as June 2nd. Due to time zone differences, Death Stranding launches on June 2nd, 12AM in Southeast Asia (June 3rd).
