Danger Zone 2 And Dangerous Driving Announced By Former Burnout Developers

A two-game followup to recapture the magic that is Burnout

Three Fields Entertainment is founded by the two co-founders of Criterion Games, the developers famous for Burnout. The indie outfit has been experimenting in all kinds of games, from a curious take on golf to a VR gallery shooter to a game that is basically Burnout’s Crash Mode.. but not quite.

Now the studio announced two new games that will be out this year. Both aimed to recapture the magic that is Burnout.

First is the followup to the game that’s basically Burnout’s Crash Mode- Danger Zone. Danger Zone 2 (image above) will focus more on the puzzle aspects that comes from the crash junctions, but skips the whole warehouse environment for some real blue skies on real roads based of the USA, UK and Spain. More cars, more objectives and more crashes are promised.

The next is called Dangerous Driving, and as the name implies, it’s a full-on racing game. It will feature boosts, takedowns and car crashes like a spiritual successor to Burnout should sound like and will be Three Fields’ most ambitious title yet.

Danger Zone 2 is set to be out rather soon- this July in fact while Dangerous Driving is set for a release this winter.
