Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion Out Now

It’s a busy week for video game releases, even with some titles delaying their releases at the last minute to make way for that one big indie game of the year. But Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion didn’t budge, it’s out now.

The mecha-action game sequel to Daemon X Machina is now a multi-platform title at launch, and has eschewed its Armored Core roots for different scale of mecha: exosuits.

A free demo (with progress transferable to the main game) is currently available. You can find our impressions of the demo here.

Developed by Marvelous First Studios and published by Marvelous Inc., Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion also is also available in physical copies. In Asia, distributor Game Source Entertainment handles the physical release of the PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions.

With the launch, Marvelous has also released an update roadmap for upcoming free content updates, the first to arrive on October 3. This content update will add a new challenge mission “Battle Grausam RT: Ω” accessible through the Simulator at the base. Successful mission clear will earn a reward.

There’s also free DLC available right now at launch. The “Two-Hairstyle Pack” and “Two-Emote Pack” are available to download.

To commemorate the launch, two new artworks by concept design lead Kazuma Koda (featuring a massive enemy against a small Arsenal), and character designer Kimihiko Fujisaka (featuring the art of two characters) has been released.

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is out now on PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
