Crimson Desert, the open-world action-adventure game by Black Desert devs Pearl Abyss, is finally ready to make another appearance.
The game will be showcased on Gamescom’s Opening Night Live (ONL) on August 22. This will include new gameplay footage.
Crimson Desert is being made using Pearly Abyss’s proprietary BlackSpace Engine.
Pearl Abyss will also showcase more of its long-running MMO Black Desert on the show, which recently added the Land Of The Morning Light expansion.
Crimson Desert made its first appearance back in 2020, but has gone quiet ever since. The last we heard of the game was a tease from late 2022, which amounted to nothing.
So at least this one is for real, as it seems. ONL host Geoff Keighley has tweeted about the game’s appearance alongside previously confirmed games like Alan Wake 2, Black Myth Wukong and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
