Crimson Desert Targets Late 2025 Release

Pearl Abyss is finally ready to release its anticipated single-player game, Crimson Desert. But like many games releasing in late 2025, they aren’t ready to put an exact date yet.

As revealed at The Game Awards 2024, a new trailer shows even more things your protagonist Kliff can do. Apparently he can also ride on a wyrm (i.e. that dragon-looking creature) and decimate a flying fortress? One-on-one boss fights and face a horde of enemies? Crimson Desert continues to look bonkers.

Pearl Abyss also confirms a set of non-combat activities you can partake which includes rock climbing, gliding, cooking and yes, fishing. Some of the open world exploration will have some form of puzzle-solving.

Crimson Desert is set for release in late 2025 for the PS5, PC (Steam), Mac and Xbox Series X|S.
