Civilization VI continues to roll out its monthly free updates. For December 2020, it’s a rather small one.
As revealed before, the biggest new feature is a city-state picker, which lets you ban or select specific city-states you want to spawn in your game, rather than just have it determine how many. It’s a similar nice little addition like the Natural Wonder picker added previously.
Most of the content here is balance changes. Most of them are related to the paid content releases, but the most notable change is some improvements to AI. You can check the full patch notes here.
The small free update of this month means January 2021 will see a paid DLC drop. According to the New Frontier Pass roadmap, we will see one civ, 2 new leaders and a new game mode coming, so that will be interesting to see.
