Build Your Potion-Making Production Line In The Magical Mixture Mill, Out Now On Steam Early Access

The Magical Mixture Mill, the new game by indie devs Glowlight and published by Hook, is out now. The game adds a little something unseen in other potion-making and shopkeeping games has done before.

You concoct potions, but compared to recent examples like Potionomics where you haggle and deal with customers as a deck-builder, or Potion Craft where alchemy discovery is the main draw, The Magical Mixture Mill lets you build automated production lines to automate the potion-making process. In other words, you’re playing alchemical Factorio. Or a fantasy Satisfactory. Conveyor belt games.

In The Magical Mixture Mill, you are a new apprentice to Griselda, an elderly witch that runs Griselda’s Magical Mixtures. She has to hand down the business now that she’s getting old and you are the lucky one to learn the ropes on how to run a potion shop.

You and your goblin assistant will be building production lines where alchemy gets done automatically in order to serve the local heroes’ needs. While the manual labour of bottling the potions is not part of the job, you still can balance the liquid ratio of your concoctions, figure out how to max out its potency and do all that by using different ingredients.

The Magical Mixture Mill is now out on Steam Early Access for RM49.
