Are you a fan of chunky blocks go boom and the brutalist aesthetic? Abriss – Built To Destroy, developed by Randwerk Games and published by astragon Entertainment might be what you’re looking for.
Abriss – Built To Destroy lets you construct contraptions to destroy brutalist landscapes. Whether that be attaching laser guns, a magnet that attracts walls, or a swinging contraption that is meant to be sheared off so the rest of the bits flung off to the distance to hit a faraway wall, there’s plenty of ways to build your solution to the many puzzles.
Abriss will also have a photo mode, because if you look at this game, it’s gorgeous. In the way that exploding cubes make an imposing facade is gorgeous.
The game will contain seven worlds worth of puzzles, an Endless Mode for high-score chasing and a Sandbox Mode to just mess around and create your own structures, which can be shared on the Steam Workshop.
Controller support is available too.
The game has been in Early Access since last year. The full release will add the aforementioned Endless Mode, the seventh world and other improvements.
Abriss will be leaving Steam Early Access and release in full on PC on September 5.
