Gearbox Software has fully revealed the fourth skill tree for two of the Vault Hunters. The new skill tree is part of the Designer’s Cut paid DLC, which is part of Borderlands 3 Season 2 Pass.
We’ve gotten hints of FL4K’s new Trapper skill tree before, but now we get to see the purple colour skill tree in full. Trapper is designed to control the space either in the long or short range. You can make a sniper build with plenty of shield protection. The new pet, a Hyperion Loader Bot, starts with an Ion cannon that acts like a sniper rifle, but can switch to a shotgun or an incendiary shotgun with grenades.
The new action skill, Gravity Snare, stuns nearby enemies. Its capstone ability, Capacitance, bumps the shield capacity and immediately begin charging it up whenever FL4K activates the action skill.
Amara’s fourth skill tree, Enlighten Force, makes her use her melee in a different way. The new action skill, Phaseflare, summons a big orb that damages enemies. Amara can hit the orb herself and makes the orb deal more damage to enemies as a result. The skill tree also lets Amara equip a cryo elemental. The skill tree focuses on Amara’s melee potential, and making the Phaseflare an even more powerful orb of death . The capstone skill, Clear The Mind, makes all of Amara’s damage ignore elemental damage resistance on enemies.
Zane and Moze’s fourth skill tree will be revealed on October 22, with the new Arms Race mode to be revealed on October 29. The fourth skill tree for all Vault Hunters and Arms Race makes up the content of the Designer’s Cut DLC, which will launch on November 10.
