Borderlands 3 Coming To Steam On March 13th, Includes Cross-Play With Epic

Borderlands 3 is coming to Steam. The looter-shooter was an Epic Games Store exclusive on launch last year, but unlike most Epic exclusivity that lasts for at least a year, this one is only lasting for half of that.

The Steam release will support cross-play with players on Epic via Shift, the account used for Gearbox games. And you are sharing the same save files too. So those who waited out for the Steam release can still play together with those already playing on PC.

Gearbox Software had another big showing at PAX East like last year. Aside from the Steam release announcement, they also revealed the second paid DLC: Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, and a roadmap of updates for base game owners.

Borderlands 3’s Steam page is now live.
