Borderlands 2 DLC Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep Is Being Re-Released As A Standalone “Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure”

2K and Gearbox Software revealed that they are re-releasing the Borderlands 2 DLC Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep as a standalone release.

The new title makes you know why, it’s now called Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure.

The connection to the upcoming Borderlands spin-off looter-shooter Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and the Assault On Dragon Keep DLC should be more obvious now.

As you might expect, the standalone release is essentially the same campaign DLC you have played through in Borderlands 2, which are bundled together these days in the Handsome Collection.

You get to choose as one of the six Vault Hunters to play as (the base four, plus the additional two that requires a separate DLC purchase in Borderlands 2), and there’s the inclusion of Rainbow Chests and new head cosmetics, not seen in the original DLC.

But if you never touched the DLC campaign, and never owned Borderlands 2, this is a nice and cheap way to get into the origins of how this post-apocalyptic sci-fi game pivot into high fantasy as seen in tabletop RPGs.

Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure is now available on PS4 (for RM39 in Malaysia), PC via Steam (RM42) and Epic Games Store (free for a limited time until November 17) and Xbox One.

TTiny Tina’s Wonderlands will be out on March 25, 2022 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Epic Games Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version is exclusive to Epic on launch, but will still be coming to other stores later in 2022.
