Acer has announced that its affordable gaming laptop, the Acer Nitro 5, now comes with the 8th-generation Coffee Lake Intel Core processors. This includes the new Core i7+ CPUs.
This hardware refresh should look similar to the revision first announced early this year, running on AMD CPU and GPU. The rest of the components see small changes from last year’s– the most powerful GPU available is still the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti, up to 512GB of SSD and can handle up to 32GB of DDR3 RAM.
The new Acer Nitro 5 is out now in the North America retailing at $749 USD (approximately RM2,894). Acer Malaysia has yet to announce when it will arrive in the country, but it should be coming in the next few months.
