Video games aren’t strangers to weird tie-ups with 1980s action star cameos within a modern game. But what if you brought in two 80s action stars in a game at once instead?
Well, that’s what Activision did. We’re getting two famous action heroes coming into all of the active Call of Duty games (Black Ops Cold War, Warzone and Mobile).
Rambo and Die Hard’s John McClane is joining the existing roster of characters within the Call of Duty spectrum.
While it makes sense within the context of both Black Ops and Warzone (both set in the 1980s), it’s going to be weird seeing Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone joining in the game modes like Zombies but we have seen weirder collabs in other titles.
The 80s Action Heroes Update goes live this Thursday, May 20.
