Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the date for the 2019 Playstation Awards. The annual award is to celebrate the games that have reached big sales milestones, digital and physical, in Japan and Asia.
Last year’s winners include Persona 5, God Of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man and Monster: Hunter World.
The list of awards includes the following:
- Platinum Prize – sales over 1,000,000 copies
- Gold Prize – sales over 500,000 copies
- Playstation Network Award – top 3 games with highest digital sales
- PS VR Award – best-selling PS VR games
- Indies & Developer Award – top 3 indie games
On top of that, the Users’ Choice Awards for this year has a spin to it. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the PS brand, the choice awards will open voting for games that have won any PS Awards in the past 24 years.
The top 5 will be selected, and one lucky voter will win a PS4 Pro for leaving the best comment for their vote. The voting for the Users’ Choice Awards opens today, and closes on October 23rd, 11.59PM JST (10.59PM Malaysian Time, +8 GMT). Cast your votes here.
