Xenoblade Chronicles X Is Coming To Switch

Xenoblade Chronicles X, the open world RPG by Monolith Soft released exclusively on the Wii U, is getting a Switch release.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition for the Switch will have enhanced visuals and new story elements. Nintendo doesn’t call it a remaster on its official announcement.

Set in 2054 in post-intergalactic war world, the player has to rebuild the colony of New Los Angeles. Unlike the mainline Xenoblade Chronicles games, all are already available on Switch, Xenoblade Chronicles X lets you create your own character and multiplayer co-op missions. Also, this game has mechs.

Fans of the original game will be glad to know that the additional story being added will likely address a specific scene about a hooded figure on the beach.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition will be out on March 20, 2025 for the Nintendo Switch.
