XCOM 2 Now Out On PS4 and Xbox One

It’s finally here. XCOM made its grand return now under the care of developers Firaxis as XCOM: Enemy Unknown in 2012, released on PC as well as PS3 and Xbox 360. Now when the sequel to the highly regarded strategy game was announced last year, and released last February as a PC exclusive title, many asked if we can get a console release.

They finally delivered it, as XCOM 2 is now available on both the PS4 and Xbox One. Like many ports these days, Firaxis sought out external help to do the console release this time. With the PC still has slight performance issues, we can only imagine the pain to get XCOM 2 running on consoles.

And yes, it’s available in Asia, in digital form to boot. Here’s the link to the Playstation Store should you wish get it digitally.

We have reviewed XCOM 2 and really liked it, so expect the same level of hardship going through the first few missions as you figure out how to optimise your room builds, techs to research, and upgrades to pick up in this long, challenging journey. It’s a good time to beat up some alien scum. And remember, always go for the Chryssalids first.

Good luck, Commander.
