Where Winds Meet, the ambitious open world action-adventure RPG set in ancient China, is now set to release in 2025.
A new trailer reaffirms that the game is still coming, and looking just as good as its previous reveals.
In addition, Where Winds Meet will be holding a closed beta test on PC and PS5 in the United States, Canada, Japan, and Korea. The beta will go live on May 16. Sign-ups can be made here.
Developed by Everstone Studio, Where Winds Meet is set during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period of ancient China around the 10th century. The game features the art of Wuxia heavily, with the ability to brandish weapons including Spear, Sword, Dual Blades, Glaive, Umbrella, and Fans.
In addition, there’s a whole open world teemed with history and culture to be explored. Sounds like an ambitious open world game.
There’s a lot of open world games set in the eastern side of the world releasing this year, with Ghost Of Yotei still set for release sometime this year, and Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows just launched last month.
Where Winds Meet is set for release in 2025 for PS5 and PC, but no release date has been locked in yet.
